JotSpot, Eurekster, Meebo

I was reading my blogs and I came across The Next Net 25 (CNN Money). I checked it out and here are three sites that I found interesting. There are more in the original article, so go check that out too.

Meebo is an AJAX web client that you can use to login to chat clients (AIM, ICQ, Jabber, GTalk, MSN, and Yahoo). It’s still in Alpha but it’s a cool application to check out, especially if you’re into the whole chatting thing.

Eurekster in their own words: “A swicki is a new kind of search engine that allows anyone to conduct deep, focused searches on topics you care about. Swickis uses the wisdom of crowds to improve search results – unlike other search engines, you and your community have total control over the results. Anyone can create a swicki and publish it on their web site using our customizable search widget, complete with its very own Buzzcloud that constantly updates to show the hot searches in your community.”

JotSpot on their main page: “What can you do with JotSpot?
Create an intranet, manage projects, collaborate on documents, and much more.

What’s different about JotSpot?
Pre-built applications, WYSIWYG editing, secure wiki hosting, and more.”
