The musical chairs continue

One week ago, the BJP staked claim to form the government. Today, the Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa resigned as the Janata Dal (S) withdrew support. Big surprise–the JD(S) changed its mind again.

So Karnataka faces more political uncertainity, something that is not good for the state’s economy in the long run. If this continues, expect industry leaders to make some noise.

In a related note, CNN IBN has a story on the 1st family of Karnataka politics which has this line:

So over the next one month Deve Gowda and all his sons will be preying at temples across the state to realise their father’s wish where the Karnataka government becomes synonymous with Gowdas. (emphasis mine.)

Preying indeed.
