Requiem for a dream

This movie will be added to the list of movies that I will not recommend. Apparently the critics loved the movie, but I hated it. From the vague story to the use of bizarre camera angles, split shots, and stock shots that are repeated, it seems like one of those movies that people rave about because it’s different or edgy. Sorry, but that’s not enough for me.

RFAD seems like a movie was made to deliver a message, a noble sentiment in itself, but it would’ve been nice if there was a good story that went with the message. For me the story and the characters just didn’t work.

Alternate movie title: Requiem for a nightmare.
