I kid you not.
The thesis is titled: Student Slang at IIT Madras: A Linguistic Field Study and it was written by Evelyn Richter. She taught students at IIT M, so that’s why the study is restricted to IIT M.
It seems comprehensive and looks like an interesting read but at 102 pages, I think it’ll take me some time to finish reading. Reading long PDFs can be a bit of a pain. Amazing though that you can write a thesis on this.
